Darlene Brasfield, age 60, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Trenton Health and Rehabilitation Center. All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Mrs. Dar’s life will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Church Without Walls of Dyersburg, TN, with Pastor Zack Bennard officiating..
Mrs. Darlene was born on August 24, 1964, in Chicago, IL to the late James P. Goff, Sr. and the late Dolores Sieminkowicz Goff Fortner. Mrs. Dar loved GOD and her motto was to “Live-Laugh-Love”. Dar was a waitress and bartender for E&J Midway for many years. She loved a good joke and always knew how to make you smile. She described herself as a “Harley Davidson biker, a Moma and a Busha (Grandma)”. She enjoyed good music and karaoke and loved butterflies. She would say they were our loved ones coming to visit from Heaven. Also preceding her in death was her husband of over 13 years: Mr. Charles “Chuck” Edward Brasfield; and one sister: Louise Ann “Luann” Siemienkowicz.
She is survived by two daughters: Roxanne Brasfield and Rachal Boswell both of Dyersburg, TN; six brothers: James P. Goff, Jr. (Dolores) of Starr Prairie, WI, John P. Goff of Columbia, MO, Jeffery P. Goff (Christine) of Fulton, MO, Jason William Fortner of San Antonio, TX, Christopher Charles Fortner of TN, Clinton Leroy Fortner of Fulton, MO ; four sisters: Genevieve C. Fuller (Steve) of Trenton, TN, Kathleen S. Smith (Mike) of Rutherford, TN, Francesca Renee Busse (Joe) of Dyersburg, TN, Tabitha Kay Rice; Her best friends: Judy Kempfer and Cookie Zajdel; She leaves a legacy of five grandchildren: Mariyah Bruce, Dayvontae Brasfield, Kaiden Edmonds, Dwight Cox, Jr., Kamauri Boswell; and one great-grandchild: Sincere Ross.
