Danny's Obituary Mr. Danny R. Scarborough age 69 of Bells, TN passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his residence. Danny was born on February 27, 1947 in Crockett County to the late Vernice Scarborough and wife, Sarah Woods Scarborough. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Seaman Scarborough; and a sister, Jerry Privett. Danny served our country for 35 years and retired in 2001 as a U.S. Navy Commander, Commander Medical Services Corp. and a Veterans Affairs Representative in Crockett County for three and half years. He also worked with the ROTC in Florida for 7 years and spent one year in Iraq. Mr. Scarborough is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Parks of Gustin, KY; Jamie Stieve of Elizabethton, KY and Laura Hagan and husband, Daniel of Gulfport, MS; one brother, Michael Scarborough of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Bonnie Northwood of Humboldt, TN and Ginger Kuykendall of Three Way, TN; and four grandchildren and on one the way in December, 2016. A Memorial Service to honor the life of Mr. Danny R. Scarborough will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the sanctuary of Floyds Chapel United Methodist Church in Friendship, TN with Military Honors.
