Danny's Obituary Danny Wayne Plunk, age 62, of the Providence Community, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Plunk was a member of the East Haywood Church of God, a former employee of American Air Filter with 24 years of service, a former employee of Industrial Products in Martin, TN, with 12 years of service, and a former equipment operator at the Haywood County Landfill with 10 years of service. He was also an avid sportsman and gardener. Visitation will be Friday, November 8, 2013, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Brownsville. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 9, 2013, 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Brownsville officiated by Rev. Billy Campbell and Rev. Elmer Corbin with interment to follow in the Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chad Dinkins, Dustin Dinkins, Bronson Dinkins, Bryan Dinkins John HIll, and Bill Staggs. Honorary pallbearers will be Haywood County Employees: Clinton Neal, Jackie Ivey, Terry Chambers, Tommy Waddell, and Ray C. Bunch. Survivors include his mother, Bettie Plunk and his wife, Kay Plunk, both of the Providence Community; two daughters, Tracy Davis (Donny) of Bells, and Jennifer Smith (Brandon) of Pinson; three grandchildren, Noah Davis, Kate Davis, and Alli Smith; and a very large extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Will and Lizzie Plunk and Ernest and Emma Hendrix; his father, Freddie Plunk; and a brother, Malcolm Plunk.
