Danny was born on November 28, 1944, in Ripley, TN to Robert Houston Daniel and Mable Hutchison Daniel. He worked as a farmer. He served his country through the National Guard Army. He was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church. He loved life and loved living it to the fullest. He enjoyed farming and spending time outdoors and camping. He always enjoyed numerous trips to Branson, MO. He enjoyed Friday night social dances with his good friends. Family was important to him, and he loved his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. He had a special dog named Rocky that held a special place in his heart.
He is survived by three daughters, Crystal Buckner (Steven), Sonya Daniels and Paula Daniels of Ripley, TN; two sisters, Clara Oswald (Wayne) and Patricia Buckner; two brothers-in-law, Jere Tinkley and Ray Ables; three grandchildren, Ashley Houston, Logan Buckner, and Brittany Buckner, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Gay Daniels; his parents, Robert Houston Daniel and Mable Hutchison Daniel; three sisters, Mary Daniel, Lucy Tinkley, and Dorothy Ables.
Pallbearers for the service are Wade Ables, Bradley White, Lanny Moore, Jr., Cade Moore, Christopher Flowers, and Clay Weaver. Honorary Pallbearers are Hal Mills, Gene Young, and David McNeill.
Memorials may be given to Maranatha Baptist Church Missions, 3057 Forked Deere Rd., Gates, TN 38037. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
