Dana Burford Williams

Dana Burford Williams, age 80, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A Private Family Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted in Oakwood Cemetery on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Dana was an avid reader, loved to paint and spending time with her family, who she loved very much. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ where she loved serving her Lord. She is survived by her husband, Jack Williams of Brownsville, TN, two sons, Brad Williams, of Nashville, TN, Wes Williams, (Amy), of Bartlett, TN, two sisters, Katie Wood, (Don) of Charleston, MS, Anita Rickman, (Jerry) of Memphis, TN, two grandchildren, Jonah Williams and Olivia Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Earl and Katherine Neely Burford. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Westside Church of Christ, 3235 Hwy. 54 West, Brownsville, TN 38012, or The Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund at jdrf.org. All arrangements are under the direction of Lea and Simmons Funeral Home.
