Cynthia Sullivan Young Neal

Cynthia Sullivan Young Neal, age 69 passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the First Baptist Church, Bolivar, TN. A visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the First Baptist Church, Bolivar, TN. In her earlier years, Cynthia was married to Danny Young, the father of their children. Cynthia got her Masters Degree in Education from Memphis State University and was an elementary school teacher for many years in the Crittenden County, Arkansas school system, as well as a substitute teacher in Bolivar, TN. Cynthia loved watching Nascar, reading, gardening, doing lawncare, sewing, needle work and target shooting. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, James A. Sullivan and Betty Jean Brantley Sullivan. She is survived by her son, Neil Young, his wife, Theresa, Oakland, TN, her daughter, Stacey Lynn Young, Columbia, SC, one brother, Jimmy Sullivan, Brownsville, TN, one sister, Betsy Waddell, Brownsville, TN, six grandchildren, Blake Hess, Daniel Young, Ashley Knight, A.J. Gallagher, Denton Young and Jack Young and two great grandchildren, Lane Hess and Adalyn Knight.
