Crystal's Obituary Crystal Faith Daugherty age 9 of Hermitage, TN, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. She was born August 7, 2007 in Hermitage, TN. Crystal was a student at W.A. Wright Elementary School. Crystal was preceded in death by her mother, Suzanne Gray, on Friday, June 23, 2017, just one day prior to her death as well as a grandmother, Jane Gray. Survivors include two brothers, James Griggs and Andy Griggs both of Old Hickory, TN; grandfather, Larry Gray and step-grandmother Carolyn of Nashville, TN; aunts, Debbie Gray of Nashville, TN, Julie Wilkerson of Smyrna, TN and Melissa Groves of Nashville, TN; uncle, Michael Farrar of Virginia; uncle, Jeff Farrar of Nashville; grandmother, Imogene Daugherty of Alabama; step-sister, Jennifer Daugherty of Columbia, TN. Joint funeral services for both Crystal and mother, Suzanne, will be conducted Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary Tulip Grove Baptist Church, 563 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN with the pastor, Gerald Bontrager officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, private for family only. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
