Cornelia's Obituary Cornelia M. Kendrick, age 86, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee. Mrs. Kendrick was a member of Bethel Community Church for over 65 years, owner and operator of Kendrick's Grocery for over 25 years, an excellent homemaker and loving mother. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Brownsville, TN. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 2, 2014, in the Chapel of Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes, officiated by Rev. Dennis Neenan. Interment will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. She is survived by three sons, Rev. Larry (Vicky) Kendrick of Halls, TN, Randy (Marilyn) Kendrick of Jackson, TN and Kelly (Charlotte) Kendrick of Brownsville, TN; two daughters, Judy K. (Steve) Rowland of Germantown, TN and Lisa Carol (Jerry) Vaden of Gates, TN; one sister, Ruth Turner of Brownsville, TN; eleven grandchildren, Caryn, Miranda, Holt, Emma Grace and Summer Nicole Kendrick, Shane Cone, Aimee Rowland, Tish Dushaj, Justin, Madalyn and Jessie Lynn Vaden and five great-grandchildren, Trevor Lee and Jordan Leigh Cone, Brewer Rowland, Rachel and Justin Bauer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie J. Kendrick, her parents: John Clifford and Emma Castellaw Givens; and a sister, Margaret Thompson. Pallbearers will be Jay Kendrick, Kenny Kendrick, Charlie Greenway, Justin Vaden, Phil Scott and Shane Cone.
