Cora's Obituary Ms. Cora Ann Edwards, age 72, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010, at the Bells Nursing Home, Bells, TN., following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 18, 1937 in Bells, TN to the late Aldon and Faye Edwards. She received her education at Bells High School and Memphis State University. She was a life-long member of Bells First United Methodist Church, where she had served as treasurer for the last few years. Ann's career was in banking, where she worked 46 years for Union Planters Bank in Humboldt, and Memphis, TN. Her retirement left her to enjoy her large family, which included her sister: Jacqueline Permenter and her husband, Ray; her brother: Joe Edwards Sr. and his wife, Eldridge, all of Bells, TN; and her sister-in-law: Janey Edwards of Savannah, TN In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by a brother: Sammy Edwards. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews to cherish her memory. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in Bells First United Methodist Church with Bro. Terry Presson and Bro. Ben Stillwell Hernandez officiating. The family will receive friends at the Bells First United Methodist Church, Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. prior to the funeral services. Burial will follow in Bellview Cemetery, Bells, TN. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Bells First United Methodist Church, P.O.
