Chris' Obituary Bells, TN - Christopher Dale Cottner age 47 of Bells passed away Tuesday July 28, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Humboldt September 25, 1967, to HC and Charlotte Freeman Cottner. Chris was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church and a mechanic. He served our country and was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Freeman and his paternal grandparents, Hobert and Zelma Cupples Cottner. In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by a daughter, Madison Cottner; son, Zachary Cottner as well as his maternal grandmother Myra Joyce Freeman Wharey. Funeral services for Chris will be conducted Friday July 31, 2015, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Bells Funeral Home with Chad Tritt officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. The Cottner family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
