Charlotte's Obituary Ms. Charlotte Delores Smith age 67 of Brownsville, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at her residence. She was born on July 20, 1950 in Haywood County to the late Howard Jones and Julia Tinsley Webb. Ms. Smith was a corrections counselor at the West Tennessee Detention Facility in Mason, Tennessee. She was also a member in the Order of Eastern Star in Haywood County, Chapter 356. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lee and Ollie Tinsley; a brother, Bo Webb and a stepmother, Rosa Jones. Survivors include one son, Jeremy “Bubba” Glover (Eunice) of Jackson; one daughter, Tina Turner (Louis) of Brownsville, one brother Lynn Webb (Tammy) of Bells; eight sisters, Nita Waldon (Ray) of Brownsville, Jean Devrife of Chicago, Lu Boyle (John) of Chicago, Diane Frias (Armando) of Chicago, Michelle Canales (Jody) of Brownsville, Kim Williams (Mark) of Brownsville, Kay Howard (James) of Brownsville and Kandis Webb of Jackson, two aunts Billie Grashot of Brownsville and Mildred Richardson of Brownsville and a stepfather, Ray Webb of Bells. Other survivors include eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers are Dale Fincher, John Stephens, Anthony Hendrix, Chris Osteen, Louis Turner, Heath Hendrix and Tyler Glover. Honorary Pallbearers are Chuck Milton, Brian Siller and Mason Rawles. Funeral services for Ms. Smith will be conducted Friday, February 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Martin, officiating. Burial will be held in the Brownsville Memorial Gardens. The Smith Family will receive friends the funeral home Friday, February 16, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour.
