Charlotte Emison Naylor

Charlotte Emison Naylor, age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Jordan River Health Center of Collierville, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Cypress Community Church, with Bro. Dave Brinkley officiating. Burial to follow in the Cypress Community Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Cypress Community Church from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

Mrs. Naylor was born on February 7, 1942, to the late James Herschell Emison and the late Bessie Faye Nelson Emison. She was a dedicated wife and mother, known by so many as being the funniest and sweetest person they had ever met. She loved her church and baked cookies for Kirkland Cancer Center as often as she could. She was a “Mom” to everyone and welcomed all, strangers and family alike. Mrs. Naylor served in the banking profession for over 37 years, retiring from Bank Corp South. Also preceding her in death was her husband of over 41 years: Roy Allen Naylor.

She is survived by two daughters: Carla Naylor and Tanya Naylor both of Memphis, TN; Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She leaves behind so many special friends that she loved and adored. She was surrounded by supportive neighbors, friends and church family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the Cypress Community Church or the charity of the donors choice.
