Charlotte Dale Campbell, age 82, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home, with special music provided by Mrs. Jamye Hendrix and her son: Andrew Thomas Hendrix. Burial to follow at the Providence UMC Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Bells Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour at 1:00 P.M. 

Mrs. Charlotte was born in Crockett County, TN on May 1, 1942, to the late Frank F. Jaynes and Alice Howell Jaynes. She was a member of the Mercer Baptist Church. Mrs. Charlotte was known for having a lot to say. She was always very busy, crocheting, researching genealogy or just talking. She loved to study God’s word in her daily bible study. She worked very hard during her career, starting at Kellwood Company and Little King of Alamo as a machine operator, then becoming a dental assistant for Dr. Charles Staples with his children’s Dentistry. From there, she worked at the Jackson Clinic and Rehab Group in Collections. Her last and favorite position was as a Tourism Guide for the State of Tennessee, where she greeted visitors at the Welcoming Centers. She was also preceded in death by the father of her children: Hubert Benjamin Vines (Betty Burkeen Vines Mullins of Jackson, TN); her second husband of over 25 years: Jerald Mack Campbell, Sr. and one brother: Billy Glenn Jaynes.

She is survived by two daughters: Vanessa Dale Vines and Belinda Dawn Hendrix, both of Bells, TN; one stepson: Jerald Mack Campbell, Jr. of Trenton, TN; three stepdaughters: Melinda Darlene Ferrell (Mark), Brenda Maxine Jackson, Glenda Renee Campbell; one sister: Glenda Cox (Douglas) of Coxville, TN; two grandchildren: Grant Thomas Hendrix (Jamye) of Brownsville, TN and Joshua Blake Hendrix of Bells, TN; and three great-grandchildren: Andrew Thomas Hendrix and Elizabeth Claire “Ellie” Hendrix both of Haywood County, TN and Aubrey Nicole Hendrix of Bells, TN; Mrs. Charlotte also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Kirkland Cancer Center, 720 W. Forrest Street, Jackson, TN 38301 or of the Donor’s Choice.
