Mr. Charlie Banks, Jr., age 73, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. A visitation for the Banks family will be Saturday, October 12, 2013, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the New Hope Baptist Church. Mr. Banks was preceded in death by his father: Charlie Banks, Sr. and his sister: Ann Banks. He is survived by his wife: Priscilla Williams Banks, his mother: Sue Ella Caldwell Banks both of Brownsville, TN, five children: Moneka Joyce (Robert), West Memphis, AR, Makeesha Hardy (Bruce), Bellwood, IL, Monica Banks, Cicero, IL, Charlie Banks, III (Bethany) Broadview, IL, Michael Banks, Brownsville, TN, four brothers: Willie Banks (Ann), William Banks (Doris), Freddie Lee Banks all of Brownsville, Fred Banks (Cynthia) Memphis, TN, five sisters: Dorothy Young (Fred) Milwaukee, WI, Deborah Banks, Jackson, TN, Earnestine Miller (Paul), Bonzetta Lawrence (J.W.), Peggy Banks, all of Brownsville, TN, ten grandchildren and two great-grand children.
