Charles' Obituary Charles M. "Butch" Williams, III, age 70, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, Tennessee. "Mr. Butch", as he was affectionately called, was a member of the Christ Community Church where he was a trustee and Sunday School teacher. He was the Superintendent of Bells City Schools, the previous principal of Bells Elementary School, former Federal Project Director of Crockett County Schools, and former teacher and principal in Cape Girardeau, MO. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 12, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bells Elementary School in Bells, TN, and Wednesday, November 13, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Bells Elementary School in Bells, TN, officiated by Dr. Mark Howard with interment to follow in Providence Cemetery in Madison County, TN. Pallbearers will be Wade Norris, Scott Williams, Shannon Williams, Jamey Tankersley, Zane Morris, and Brad Brookfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Emerson, Richard Davy, Dr. Jerald White, Jimmy Tankersley, and Louis Crawford. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Norris Williams of Bells, TN; two sons, David Williams of Fresno, CA, and Dr. Rowe Brookfield (Kristi) of Jackson, TN; a daughter, Laurie Williams of Munich, Germany; a brother, Joe M. Williams (Sadie) of Bells, TN; a dear cousin, Martha "Bunt" Carroll of Normal, IL; two grandchildren, Kennedy Brookfield and Brad Brookfield; three nieces and nephews Scott, Shawn and Shannon Williams; and three great-nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, C.M. Williams, Jr. and Annie Laurie Smothers Williams and a son, Morgan Brookfield IV.
