Celestia's Obituary Celestia Allen Willyerd, age 98, passed away on June 6, 2016 at her residence in Brownsville, TN. She was born on March 14, 1918 in Marked Tree, AR to the late Audrey Allen and Tishia Vance Allen. She was a loving homemaker and a member of the Brownsville Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was very active in and enjoyed all of her church activities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Willyerd; her brother, Lovin Allen and two grandsons, Rusty Willyerd and Cary Richardson. Mrs. Willyerd is survived by her son Allen Willyerd and wife Mary of Tiptonville, TN; longtime friend and personal caregiver, Tabreckia Theus; sister-in-law, Betty Williams of Collierville, TN; She leaves of legacy of three grandchildren, Felicia Klutts, Carol Ann Simmons and William Massey Richardson, Jr as well as six great grandchildren, Dylan, Tyler, Dave, Drew, Lee and William Tyler and a great-great granddaughter, Presley. Serving as Pallbearers are Jim Wheatley, Richard Nelson, Roger Cobb, Fox Smith, Milton Black, and Freddie Gause. Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Connely, Roy McCage, Bobby McCage, Bill B. Thomas Joey Parker and Robert Louis Hughes. Funeral services for Mrs. Willyerd will be conducted on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Dr. H.K. Sorrell and Rev. Bob Connerly officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. The Willyerd family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Brownsville Funeral Home. The family has requested that any memorials be directed to the Brownsville Baptist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Mrs. Willyerd. Read More Read Less
