Carolyn Lee Williams

Carolyn Lee Williams, age 78, of Fruitvale, TN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 12, 2025. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. in the Sanctuary of the Cypress Community Church, with Bro. David Brinkley officiating. Burial of follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery of Humboldt, TN. The family will receive friends at the Cypress Community Church from 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 18, 2025, until the service hour at 1:00 P.M.

She was born on September 29, 1946, to the late James Ernest Williams and the late Mary Lou Williams. Mrs. Carolyn was a member of the Cypress Community Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her yard work, beautiful flower beds and going to the beach. Her favorite hobby was playing cards, the Canasta Club got very exciting at times, but absolutely no gambling.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of over 41 years: Clint Owen Williams, Jr.; her daughter: Candace Francine Williams; her infant daughter: Rachel Marie Pierce; one brother: Robert Ernest Williams; and one sister: Louise Williams Hart.

Survivors include her children: Tara Pierce Privette (Bobby) of Fruitvale, TN, Macy Pierce of Fruitvale, TN, Clint Williams III (Phara) of Bells, TN, Mary Jon Williams of Fruitvale, TN. She leaves a legacy of two grandchildren: Lauren Goolsby (Heath) and Travis Privette (Liz); five great grandchildren: Tobias, Tripp, Kali, Heath Jr., and Asher. She also leaves behind her special friend Mr. Joe Williams and many, many other friends.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to N.O.A.H. P.O. Box 94, Alamo, TN 38001, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Cypress Community Church.

Serving as Pallbearers are Bobby Privette, Travis Privette, Heath Goolsby, Mona Watridge, John Hart, John Kelley, Tobias Rice and Jimmy Hart.
