Carolyn Ann Marbury

Mrs. Carolyn Ann Marbury, age 76, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 in the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Ann was a Beautician for 37 years, a member of Keeling Baptist Church and someone who spent her whole life taking care of people but she never wanted to be that person that needed taken care of. She LOVED her Grandkids and she never thought she would ever fall in love again after having Dwayne until she met her great-great grandson Levi Reed in 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents: Cordie Lee Forsythe and Lena Faye Taylor Forsythe, her husband: Billy Wayne Marbury and two brothers: Jesse Lee Forsythe and Johnny Wayne Forsythe. She is survived by her son: Dwayne Marbury (Cindy), Stanton, TN, one sister: Helen Fay Marbury (Edward Earl), Jackson, TN, two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association,4825 Trousdale Dr., Suite 220, Nashville, TN 37220 or the American Heart Association, 2170 Business Center Dr., Memphis, TN 38134.
