Mrs. Carolyn Lavania Lovelace, age 89 was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A Celebration of her life Service will be conducted Sunday, January 27, 2019, at 3:00 PM in Allen Baptist Church in Brownsville. Burial will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 1733 Upper Zion Rd, Brownsville. A visitation for the Lovelace family will be held Sunday, January 27, 2019, from 1:00 PM to service time at 3:00 PM in the Allen Baptist Church. Pallbearers for the service will be Jacob Lovelace, Shane Rodgers, Bob Bond, Jesse Dedmon, Tracy Rodgers and David Blurton. Honorary Pallbearers will be deacons at Allen Baptist Church: Adam Buckingham, Stan Flowers, Mark Kendrick, Greg Killen and David Stewart along with Billy Kirby, Ronnie Hooper, Spence Rodgers, Kyle Taylor and Wesley Warren. Carolyn was born in Haywood County, Tennessee on December 14, 1929, to William Warf and Era Mae Covington Warf who precede her in death. She met her husband Hobert Louis Lovelace, in the Allen / Holly Grove / Zion community and married on February 23, 1945. They both served the community by owning and operating Hobert Lovelace & Sons general store on the town square in Brownsville for almost 40 years. She was a great cook, as her family and church family well knew and they enjoyed the garden together. They were married for 58 years before his passing in 2003. Carolyn loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family, her church and her friends. She was a faithful member of Allen Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; Hobert Louis Lovelace, a son; Hobert “Louis” Lovelace, Jr. and a brother, Billy Lee Warf. Those left to cherish her memory are: her son, Bro. Phil Lovelace (Sandra), one grandson. Shey (Dawn) Lovelace, and two great grandchildren: Jacob and Chloe Lovelace, all of Brownsville, TN, along with a host of extended family, friends and loved ones. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Allen Baptist Church, c/o Mary Ann Flowers, 5533 Hwy 79 N, Brownsville, TN 38012. Lea and Simmons are in charge of the arrangements.
