Mrs. Carol Brizentine, age 86, a resident of Ocala, FL, formerly of Brownsville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Graveside Services for Mrs. Brizentine will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 3:30 PM at the Salem Cemetery in Gadsden, TN with Bro. Billy Campbell officiating.
She was born on September 25, 1936, in Birmingham, AL. She was a wonderful homemaker and housewife. She enjoyed her family, loved cooking for them through the years and found great joy spending time with them. She particularly has such fond memories of going to Disney for the Food and Wine Festival with Ashley, the daughter she always wanted. She loved working her circle word books, and loved reading. For the past year, the only two television programs she wanted to watch was the Price is Right with Bob Barker or Gunsmoke. These shows reminded her of a time with life was good with Charlie at work and the children in school.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brizentine and one grandson, Wesley Brizentine. She is survived by her sons, Hank Brizentine (Dawn) and Billy Brizentine, Jennifer Brizentine (Ashley); grandchildren, Daniel Waldrop, Bryce Brizentine, Sydney Morris and Britany Allee; great-grandchildren, Karter Brizentine, Emery Brizentine, Adriannah (AK) Waldrop, Lucy Morris and Charlie Morris.
Honorary Pallbearers for the service will be Jackie Vannetter, David Vannetter, Mark Killen, Howard Cook, Travis Williams and Michael Scallions. Special Honorary Pallbearer Robert (Bobby) Taylor.
