Carlton Thomas Phillips

Mr. Carlton Thomas Phillips, age 66 of Whiteville, TN, passed away August 9, 2016 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a long illness. Memorial Services will be conducted September 6, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Carlton was born July 13, 1950 in Somerville, TN, attended Fayette County Schools, served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Belton, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lee and Emma Ashmore Phillips, brother: Jimmy Phillips, two sisters: Edna Miles and Barbara Cannon. He is survived by his wife: Janice Anderson Phillips, three sons: Michael Phillips, Jonathan Phillips, Sean Taylor, wife Cindy, two daughters: Cynthia Phillips all of Temple, Texas, Melissa Frost of San Antonio, TX, a brother: Lemuel Phillips, Longtown, TN, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
