Buddy's Obituary Mr. Buddy Wilbanks age 77 of Crockett Mills, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 11, 1939 in Lake County to the late Novel Wilbanks and Lona Burress. Mr. Wilbanks was a retired farmer, Veteran of the United States Army and attended Cairo Church of Christ. Mr. Wilbanks is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Travelstead Wilbanks. son, Keith Wilbanks and wife Ronda of Friendship; daughter, Kelly Wilbanks Williams and husband Joey of Bells; one sister and three brothers, Janie Hilliard of Alamo, Joe Wilbanks of Dresden, Danny Buress and wife, Bonnie of Miston and Dickey Buress of Bogato. Other survivors include three grandchildren, Zack Wilbanks, Walker Williams and Bryer Williams. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Buddy Wilbanks will be conducted Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Cairo Church of Christ with minister Larry Harper officiating. The Wilbanks family will receive friends at Cairo Church of Christ on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
