Mrs. Brenda L. Matthis, age 59, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at her home in Brownsville, TN. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 12, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, July 11, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, July 12, 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her father: John Holley and a brother: Larry Holley. She is survived by her husband: Jack M. Matthis, Sr. Brownsville, TN, her mother: Helen Holley Pendergrast, Calvert City, KY, two sons: Jack Matthis, Jr. (Amy), Jackson, TN, Robert Matthis, Brownsville, TN, one daughter: Jennifer Winberry (Brad), Humboldt, TN and ten grandchildren: Joshua Matthis, Hunter Winberry, Savannah Luther, Colten Luther, Caroline Luther, Cassetty Montague-Matthis, Jackson Matthis, Katelyn Carter, Jacob & Brady Matthis.
