Bobby “Ray” Webb, age 89, of Bells TN passed into the glory of eternal life on Monday, September 13th, 2021, at his home in Bells, TN.
Ray was born April 8th, 1932, in Bells, TN to Beatrice and Aubrey Webb.
He retired as a truck driver from Colonial Rubber in 1995. After retiring from Colonial Rubber, he opened and operated Webb Home Repair which became one of the best and most trusted residential and commercial home repair businesses in West, TN. After retiring from his business, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and reading his Bible. His favorite Bible verse 2 Corinthians 5:8 says:
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord”.
He was a beloved and cherished husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will always be remembered his humor and love for the Lord. He will be greatly missed by those blessed enough to have known and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Aubrey and Beatrice Webb. Brothers Don Webb and Billy Neal Webb, Wife Julia Webb, son Jerry Webb, stepdaughters Sandra Taylor and Charlotte Smith, granddaughters Rachael Frost and Christy Maddox. He is survived by sister Nancy Lockett, and brothers Jimmy Webb (Cathy) and Van Webb (Janice), children Kim Webb Williams (Mark), Kaye Howard (James), Lynn Webb (Tammy), Michelle Canales (Jody), Kandis Webb, Bobby Webb and Mike Webb. stepdaughter Anita Waldon (Ray). Grandchildren: Melissa Oliver (Jason), Jr. Webb (Cady), Raeann Williams, Robbie Williams, Katie Pitts (Bubba), Jonathon Howard (Andrea), Tamala Pierce (Daniel), Raelyn Chumney (Robert), Rick Galindo, Aubrey Galindo, Chrissy Krites (Jimmy), Mindy Smith (Randy). Step-Grandchildren: Jeremy Glover, Tina Turner, Christy Maddox, Sandy Caraway, Leann Weatherford, Chuck Milton, Chris Osteen, and twelve (12) great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16th, 2021, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bells Funeral Home with Bro. Shea Lovelace officiating. Funeral will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, TN.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38301-9908.
