Bobby Sweat

his step motherMr. Bobby Glen Sweat, age 74, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at his home in Brownsville, TN. His Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville.  Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lea and Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.  He faithfully served our country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.  He also was a retired truck driver. 

Mr. Sweat was preceded in death by his father, Rayburn Sweat, his mother, Elizabeth Doyle Morgan, his step-father, Monroe Morgan and a grandson, TJ Curtis. He is survived by his wife, Edna Rekosh Sweat, Brownsville, TN, a son, Richard Sweat (Macey), Alamo, TN, a daughter, Rachel Curtis, (Tim) Stanton, TN, four brothers: Ricky Sweat (Betty), Charlie Sweat (Alonda) both of Brownsville, TN, Howard Sweat, Jackson, TN, Wally Morgan (Alice Kelly) Oxford, MS, three sisters: Janet Robertson (Felix), Brownsville, TN, Patricia Williams (Jackie), Wynn, AR, Joyce Gremmels, Redding, CA, his step mother, Bertha Sweat,Brownsville, TN, grandchildren: Tyler Tindle, Amanda Tindle, Madison Sweat, Kaedan Sweat, Sadie Todd, Glen Curtis, Karissa Pereira (Frankie).
