Bobby's Obituary Mr. Bobby Gerald Ferrell, age 74, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at his home. He was born February 19, 1943 in Lauderdale County, Tennessee to the late James Daniel Ferrell and the late Gracie Virginia Luttrell Ferrell. Mr. Ferrell worked in maintenance at Lasco. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Daniel Ferrell, brother, James Leon Ferrell and a sister, Shirley Ferrell Wyatt. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Wilkerson Ferrell of Brownsville, TN; daughter, Janie Ferrell McCormick of Illinois; three sons, Curtis Bodkins of Jackson, TN, Kenneth Bodkins of Alamo, TN, Gregory Bodkins of Parsons, TN, and Joe Moore of Alamo, TN; five sisters, Joyce Giles of Texas, Wanda Powell of Brownsville, TN, Debbie Sargent of Brownsville, TN, Brenda Bailey of Brownsville, TN, and Neita Harvey of Jackson, TN; 13 grandchildren, Shannon Combs, Felicia Fowler, Peter McCormick, Jr., Elizabeth Moore, Ellie Moore, Emily Ray, Trinity Bodkins, Gregory Bodkins, Jr., Melissa Embry, Adam Bodkins, Dustin Bodkins, Ryan Bodkins, and Matthew Bodkins; 8 great-grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers are Peter McCormick, Peter McCormick, Jr., Curtis Bodkins, Kenneth Bodkins, Gregory Bodkins, and Joe Moore. Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Ferrell will be conducted Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Bells with Bro. Justin Mooreland officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery. The Ferrell family will receive friends at Brownsville Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour at Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
