Bobby's Obituary BELLS, TN - Mr. Bobby Allen Crutchfield age 77, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015, in Alamo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Haywood County January 20, 1938, to the late Clarence L. and Martha Sue Overton Crutchfield. Mr. Crutchfield, a retired carpenter, was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church. He served our country in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Crutchfield and a stepdaughter, Barbara Durbin. Mr. Crutchfield is survived by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Nellie Ellington Crutchfield; son and daughter in law, Allen and Sherma Crutchfield; two sisters, Effie Sue Leonard and husband Jerry of Florida and Marilyn Hendrix and husband Bennie of Madison County. Other survivors include three grandchildren, Brandi Jones and husband Jason of Winchester, Daniel Crutchfield and wife Catherine of Jackson and Marcie Moore and husband Matt of Gibson as well as four great grandchildren. He also leaves a special niece, Sherri Gideon and husband Stan and a host of additional relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers are John Edwards, Stan Gideon, Nathan Gideon, Joe Cole, Windell Hart, James McCall, Terry Brown and Zane Morris as well as an honorary pallbearer, Scott Cole. Funeral services for Mr. Crutchfield will be conducted today, Monday August 17, 2015, at 2pm in the sanctuary of Walnut Hill Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Justin Moreland officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. Bells Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends today at the church from noon until the service hour.
