Bobby's Obituary Mr. Bobby Lee Cannon age 77 of Hillville, TN passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Bobby was born on March 29, 1939 to the late Luther Cannon and wife, Ethel Goodman Cannon. He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Cannon and a sister Janie Blackburn. Mr. Cannon is survived by his wife, Hope Cannon; a son, Lee Cannon and wife, Becky of Hillville; a daughter, Darlene Brock and husband, Kenny of Moscow; a brother, Mac Cannon of Memphis; two sisters, Billie Howard of Nashville and Margaret Carroll of Hornsby. Other survivors include seven grandchildren, Brittany Staggs and husband, Danny, Josh Cannon and wife, Katie, Anna Elrod and husband, Dallas, Zachary Cannon, Eli Cannon, Katelyn Campbell, Candice Cannon and Troy Brock as well as fourteen great grandchildren, Alexis Staggs, Lucas Elrod, Brendon Cannon, Aubrey Cannon, McKayla Cannon, McKenzie Cannon, William Cannon, Melanie Cannon, Kyle Brock, Chelsea Brock, Drew Brock, Mackenley Brock, Monica Brock along with a host of nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers are Gerald Lewis, Timmy Lewis, Robbie Lewis, Josh Cannon, Dallas Elrod, Danny Staggs, Billy Austin, Randy Goodman and Tim Blackburn. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Goodman, Donald Elrod, Dale Elrod, Beau Warren and Mack Henley. Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Lee Cannon will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2016 at 12 noon in the Sanctuary of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with Bro. Grover Westover officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the Brownsville Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at noon.
