Bobby Joe's Obituary Mr. Bobby Joe Austin age 81 of Brownsville, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 29, 1935 in Chester County to the late Johnny Franklin Austin and Mary Stinson Austin. Mr. Austin was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Woodland Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Waddell Austin; two daughters, Linda Coffman and husband Jerry of Atwood and Vickie Gardner and husband Terry of Humboldt; three sons, Robert Austin and wife Claudia of Kentucky, Ricky Austin and wife Deborah of Humboldt and Ronnie Austin and wife Penny of Dyersburg; sister, Ruby Lee of Gadsden. Other survivors include eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are Richard Waddell, Tommy Waddell, Tony Scott, Brad Austin, Steve Waddell and John Lee. Honorary pallbearers are the Deacons of Woodland Baptist Church. Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Joe Austin will be conducted Monday, December 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Dr. Matt Tomlin officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Baptist Church Cemetery. The Austin family will receive friends on Monday at the Brownsville Funeral Home from noon until the service hour.
