Billy Williams

Mr. Billy Wayne Williams, age 75, passed away at his home in Ripley, TN on Thursday, November 26, 2015. Mr. Williams was an Army Veteran and retired from the Tennessee Highway Patrol. He loved hunting, fishing, and horses. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, November 29, 2015 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Ripley, TN. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M., Saturday, November 28, 2015 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents: Roy Herman and Ora Bell Goff Williams, his first wife: Shirley Ann Williams, his brothers: Herman Williams, Lloyd Williams, and Robert Williams. He is survived by his wife, Pennie Williams, Ripley, TN, two sons: Kevin Williams (Amy), Ripley, TN and Robert Williams, La Belle, MO, three daughters: Ashley Shirley (Mike), Dyersburg, TN, Amanda West (Jesse), Chattanooga, TN, and Anna Martin (Nathan), Chesapeake, VA, and 12 Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Walnut Grove Baptist Church Building Fund in Ripley, TN or the Alzheimer's Association.
