Billie's Obituary Billie Claiborne Bogart, age 90, wife of late Robert B. Bogart, sister of the late Helene Veirs of Brownsville, TN and mother of late Helene Holloway Bogart passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009. She leaves one son, J. Bruce Bogart and one granddaughter, Lauren E. Bogart both of Redondo Beach, CA. Born and raised in Brownsville, TN she attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and moved to Memphis in 1950. She was a Charter member and organizer of the Colonial Acres Garden Club, Girl Scout Troop Leader, in charge of costumes for Theatre Memphis when it was at the Pink Palace, and a member of Colonial Park Methodist Church. She was a strong, beautiful, creative lady whose interests ranged from gardening to sewing and travel. Mrs. Bogart will be greatly missed by family and friends. Memorial services will be held at Colonial Park Methodist Church in Memphis on Tuesday, August 11th at 4:00 PM.
