Bill Bailey

Mr. William “Bill” Anthony Bailey, Sr., age 86, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital of Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the St. Paul United Methodist Church, in the Durhamville Community.  Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery.  He was preceded in death by his parents:  Benjamin Anthony Bailey and Katherine Rudd Bailey. He is survived by his wife:  Bobbie Hall Bailey; one son: William A. “Tony” Bailey, Jr. of Ripley, TN; one daughter: Barbara Bailey Virgin of Union City, TN; one brother:  Robert H. Bailey, Sr. of Ripley, TN; one sister:  Louise Bailey Downing of Byhalia, MS; two grandchildren:  Brian Anthony Mulherin and Laura Mulherin Suiter and two great-grandchildren:  Bailey Cole Suiter and Nathaniel Benjamin Mulherin.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church c/o Jean Meacham, 317 Burke Drive, Ripley, TN  38063.
