Betty Mackey

Betty Mackey, age 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital.   All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home.

Mrs. Betty was born in Dyer County, TN on July 27, 1943, to the late Robert Hendrix and Margaret Hazel Adamson Hendrix. She worked as a store clerk for Mr. Tony Kindle for many years.  She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by two sons:  Danny Wayne Jobe and Kenneth Ray Jobe; one brother:   George Wayne Hendrix; and one sister:   Vanita Ann Chessor; She leaves behind numerous friends and extended family.  She leaves a legacy of 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

The Family are honoring her wishes for cremation and further information will be announced as it becomes available by the Bells Funeral Home.
