Betty Climer's Obituary Mrs. Betty Climer Henderson age 85 of Bells, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 23, 2017. She was born April 18, 1932 in Crockett County to the late Revelle Wray Climer and Addie Mae VanDyke Climer. Mrs. Henderson was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Doyle Henderson; sister, Gloria Dawn Skrbich and brother, Franklin Climer. Survivors include a son, Sammy Henderson and wife Carol of Gadsden; daughters, Gloria Ann Faulkner of Alamo, Pat Hart, Brenda Cowan and husband Dan and Gina Bergenheim all of Bells; two brothers and a sister, Hinton Climer and wife Joan and Wayne Climer and wife Donna Sue all of Bells and Lynda Vince and husband David of Jackson. Other survivors include nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and her special great grand-dog, Harper. Serving as pallbearers are, Adam Vandiver, Rodney Tatum, Joseph Cowan, David Cowan, Jonathan Hart, Clay Reece, Chance Henderson and Will Lumley. Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Climer Henderson will be conducted Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Holly Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Ralph Brown and Dr. John Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Cairo Cemetery. The Henderson Family will receive friends at Holly Grove Baptist Church on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family requests that those desiring, please direct memorials to Holly Grove Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Henderson.
