Bernard's Obituary Mr. Bernard Lile Woodson Jr., age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, TN. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Opal Miller Woodson, Bells, TN; a son, John Lile Woodson (Donna Elizabeth), Asheville, NC; two daughters: Susan Izak (Mike), Renton, WA, and Laura Cox (Allen), Humboldt, TN; a brother, Robert Woodson (Linda), Huntersville, TN; three grandchildren, Jade Woodson Cress (Jeremy), Katie Izak, and Michael Izak. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Lile Woodson, Sr. and Rubye Harris Woodson; and an infant daughter, Sarah Emily Woodson. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, Bells, TN, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Friday, June 28, 2013. Funeral services, under the direction of the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes, will be held at First Baptist Church in Bells, TN, Saturday, June 29, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dennis Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Belleview Cemetery. Mr. Woodson owned and operated the Ben Franklin Store in Bells for 37 years. He was an active member of First Baptist Church, Bells, TN, where he had served as training union director, treasurer, and Sunday School superintendent. He was a member of the American Legion for over 60 years and a long-time member of the Bells Jaycees. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Men's Ministry of First Baptist Church, P.O.
