Mrs. Barbara Fletcher McGary, age 88, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Haywood Park Community Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM, Monday, October 31, 2011 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. McGary was preceded in death by her first husband: Harold Stout and her second husband: Frederick McGary; two brothers: Frank Fletcher Jr. and William "Sonny" Fletcher, and three sisters: Jean Quick, Martha Fletcher and Jessie Bonds. She is survived by her brother: Jack Fletcher (Margaret Ann), Brownsville, TN; nieces and nephews: Gil Fletcher (Judy), Jeff Fletcher (Elaine), Elise Mitchell (Bill), Peggy Byrd (Jerry), Phyllis Pritchett (Lee), Susan Hinson (Rick), Rick Bonds, Barbara Kolacek-Cox (Kerry), Frank Fletcher III, Roger Fletcher, John Fletcher and Paul Quick; and a host of great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Union Grove United Methodist Church, c/o Carol Williams, 517 N. Washington, Brownsville, TN 38012 or to Reelfoot Rural Ministries, 6923 Minnick-Elbridge Rd, Obion, TN 38240.
