Barbara Parker Bain

Barbara Parker Bain, age 83, a resident of Bells, TN, departed this life on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at the Trinity Cemetery in the Nutbush Community with Bro. Tim Smartt officiating. 

 Barbara Bain was born in Dyersburg, TN on January 23, 1941, to John Enloe Parker and Ellen Walker Parker. She worked as a hair stylist for 35 years. She was a faithful member of Maranatha Baptist Church for 68 years. She loved people and loved the Lord. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. 

She is survived by her son, Michael Lynn Bain (Jennifer) of Little Rock, AR; one sister, Glenda Parker Bain (Mack) of Gates, TN; two grandchildren, Lindsey Bain Hood (Robert), Amanda Bain Whitley (Monty); four great-grandchildren, Emmalyn Hood, Claire Hood, Tristan Bledsoe, Brooks Whitley, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lynn Bain, and her parents, John Enloe Parker and Ellen Walker Parker. 

All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
