Annie Lea Gately Bullman

Annie Lea's Obituary Mrs. Annie Lea Gatley Bullman, age 95, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Alive Hospice, Nashville, TN. She was the daughter of the late Lish & Cecilia Lee Gatley. On October 17, 1937, she married the late Clarence E. Bullman and lived in the Hopewell Community, Finger, TN. After his death, she moved to Henderson, TN. She was a homemaker and member of Hopewell Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her a daughter, Brenda Bullman (Jack) Fuqua; brothers, Eddie (Mary) Gatley and Elvie (Sue Nell) Gatley; sisters, Pearl Gatley (Odis) Bullman, Ada Gatley (Carnell) Moore, and Allie Mae Gatley (James) Talley. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Evelyn (Bobby) Downey, Pegram, TN, Sherry (Mike) Rutherford, Collierville, TN and Cheryl (Steve) Karolchik, Pleasant View, TN ; son-in-law, Jack Fuqua, Hendersonville, TN; Six Grandsons, Daryl (Sandy) Downey, Kevin (Shannon) Fuqua, Kerry Fuqua, Keith Fuqua, D. J. (Kim) Brewer and Chris (Chelsea) Brewer; two granddaughters, Rene' (Hank) Thompson and Darlete (Steve) Bishop. Other survivors include eight great-grandsons, Houston Downey, Alex and Austin Bishop, Daniel and Jacob Thompson, Peyton Brewer and Noah Fuqua as well as three great-granddaughters, Heather Downey, Amber Bishop and Madison Brewer. Funeral Services for Mrs. Bullman will conducted on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Casey Chapel, Henderson, TN, with Bro. Johnny Bullman and DJ Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. The Bullman family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 27, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Serving as pallbearers are Daryl Downey, Keith, Kevin and Kerry Fuqua, D.J. and Chris Brewer, Hank Thompson and Steve Bishop.
