Annie's Obituary
Mrs. Annie Ruth Cobb Gann passed away peacefully at Orange Park Medical Center surrounded by loving family, January 8, 2010 after battling serious heart and lung issues as a result of a heart attack and complications that occurred Christmas night. Ruth grew up a Tennessee farm girl, then a navy wife and mother, then saw much of our beautiful country as a truck driver until she hit 60. She had a passion for log cabins, old cars, Elvis, and everything "country "; cooking, music, decorations, and more. She is survived by her two sisters: Joy Moss and Linda Czigan; her four children: Alicia Kay Odell, James (Jimmy) Gann, Angela McNutt and Thomas (Tommy) Gann, and five grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Gann will be held in the Brownsville Funeral Home, Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Brownsville Funeral Home Saturday, January 16, 2010, from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. prior to the funeral services. Read More Read Less
