Anne Thornton

Mrs. Anne Mae Pippin Thornton, 91, passed away January 10, 2015 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M in Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Mrs. Thornton was preceded in death by her husband for over 64 years, William P. Thornton, Sr., and a grandson: William P. Thornton, III. She is survived by one daughter: Elaine Thornton Lee (Jack), Helena, Montana, two sons: William P. Thornton, Jr. (Bettye) Crossville, TN and Thomas L. Thornton, Brownsville, TN. Five grandchildren: Genia Thornton Parks (James), Laura Haynes Head (Jason), Margaret Anne Haynes Harrison (Chad), Edward Perkins Thornton (Kristy) andThomas Walker Thornton. Eight great-grandchildren: Jamison and Hayden Parks, Jordan and Grace Head, Drew and Taylor Harrison and Will and Kendall Thornton.
