Anna Margaret "Polly" Davis

Anna Margaret “Polly” Davis, age 91, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at her home in Bells, TN.  A Graveside Service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. in the Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with Bro.  Grover Westover officiating.

Miss Davis was born in Bells, TN on March 31, 1932, to the late William Irving Davis and Hester Lovelace Davis.  She was a lifelong member of the Walnut Hill Baptist Church. Miss Polly was a dedicated employee, serving the Milan Army Ammunitions Plant for over 29 years before her retirement.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers:  James Farrow Davis and Charles Hunter Davis; and one sister:  Shelby Jean Davis; and one niece:  Mary Jo Crutchfield.

She is survived by one sister:  Rosa Faye Hazen of Albuquerque, NM; and nephews: James Irving (Jim) Davis (Lisa) of Bells, TN, Stephen Hazen of Santa Fe, NM and Bruce Hazen of Bend, Oregon. She also leaves behind her good friend:  Mrs. Opal Faye Woodson.
