Ann was born on January 8, 1935, in Rutherford, New Jersey. She was a homemaker. She had many interests in her life that included The National Field Trials and riding horses, snow-skiing, flowers and gardening. She loved having coffee at Jimmy’s in Brownsville. She was an avid football fan and loved cheering on the Raiders and the Broncos. She loved art and had a great appreciation for paintings and sculptures.
She is survived by the love of her life, George Williams, Sr. of Brownsville, TN to whom she was married for 63 years. She is also survived by three sons, Rolf Williams (Kimberly) of Olive Branch, MS, George Williams, Jr. (Tanda) of Eads, TN, and Mark Williams (Amy) of Johnstown, CO. She leaves a legacy of love for her grandchildren, Evan Williams, Rachel Williams, Elizabeth Williams, Joshua Williams, and Ryan Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Brisbin and Edna Greenbowe Brisbin; one brother, Robert Brisbin; two sisters, Lenore McCarty and Elizabeth Leek.
The family has requested memorials be made to the Haywood County Boys and Girls Club, 127 N. Grand Ave., Brownsville, TN 38012. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
