Ann's Obituary Mrs. Ann Gibson, age 85 of Brownsville, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital with her family by her side. Mrs. Gibson was born in Perry County on October 20, 1932 to the late John Choate and wife Addie Weems Choate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Coulston; three brothers, Willie Choate, Eddie Choate, and Kyle Choate; one sister, Johnnie Choate. Survivors include her son, Freddy Gibson of Brownsville; two sisters, Nettie Choate of California and Jessie Whittington of Brownsville. Other survivors include six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are Chase Coulston, Mason Coulston, Josh Coulston, Lonnie Hodge, Bill Hodge, and Jim Coulston. Funeral Services for Mrs. Ann Gibson will be conducted Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The Gibson Family will receive friends on Friday at the Brownsville Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
