Anita Gay Najdek-Toth

Anita Najdek-Toth, age 74, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at her home in Dyersburg, TN. All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home. Mrs. Anita was born on July 3, 1948, to the late Kenneth Pierson and Virginia Meyer. She proudly served her Country in the United States Marines. She loved crafts, cross stitch, quilting and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Toth; one brother: Edward Pierson; and one son: Steven Swanson. She is survived by one daughter: Anica Smith (David) of Benton, KY; two sons: Carl Najdek of Hendersonville, NC, John Swanson of Eden Prairie, MN; her long-time friend and caregiver: Wendy Hedrick of Dyersburg, TN; one brother: John Pierson. She leaves a legacy of 8 grandchildren: Larisa, Anneka, JayDe, Gabriella, Alexandra, Aaron, Adam and Jacob; 1 great-grandson; 1 niece and 1 nephew. Her funeral will be Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary's Epicopal Church in Dyersburg, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 108 N. King Ave., Dyersburg, TN 38024.
