Alice Faye's Obituary Mrs. Alice Burns Jackson age 75 of Williston, formerly of Haywood County, died Tuesday April 14, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. She was born May 21, 1939, to the late Toy Hill and Omie Jones Hill. Mrs. Jackson loved watching cooking shows, working crossword puzzles, collecting salt and pepper shakers, and loved spending time and talking with family and friends. She was previously employed at Wells Lamont of Brownsville, as well as managed Silver Lakes Mobile Home Community. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her first husband of twenty seven years, Billy Ray Burns; her second husband of thirty years, Gene Jackson; one son, Randy Dewayne Burns; two brothers and three sisters, J.G. Hill, James Thomas Hill, Naomi Jones, Orene Keltner, and Irene Jones. Survivors include a son, Rickey Burns and wife Sissy of Williston as well as two sisters and a brother, Enda Brooks of Missouri, Tina B. Bonilla of San Juan, Puerto Rico and A.C. "Red" Hill of Bells. Other survivors include three grandchildren, Dale Burns and wife Michelle, Chris Burns and Kimberly Burns Murphy and husband Bernard and five great grandchildren, Kaylah Burns, Kirsten Burns, Dalton Burns, Cory Murphy and Jase Murphy. Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Burns Jackson will be conducted on Friday April 17, 2015, at 11:00am at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel with Bro. Bob Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery in Madison County. The family will receive friends on Thursday April 16, 2015, from 6:00-8:00pm at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel. The family has requested that any memorials be directed to Williston Baptist Church Building Fund, 5925 Railroad Street, Williston, TN 38076, in memory of Mrs. Jackson. Read More Read Less
