Aaron Sammons Walker September 9, 1935 - July 16, 2009 Mr. Aaron Sammons Walker, age 73, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009, at Laurelwood Healthcare in Jackson, TN. Mr. Walker was a member of the Lions Club and the Gideons. He was a pilgrim of the Emmaus Walk, a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Lakeland, TN and a retiree of TDOT after 40 years of service as a bridge inspector. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 P.M., Saturday, July 18, 2009, in the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Claude Smithmeyer and Rev. Tim Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery, Nutbush, TN. He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Sammie Smithmeyer Walker, Middleton, TN; two sons: Aaron Wesley Walker, Cordova, TN and Samuel Lawrence Walker and his wife, Kathy, Arlington, TN; a daughter: Rebecca Goodin and her husband, Robert, Arlington, TN; six grandchildren: Jake Turner, Sarah Turner, Aaron, Anthony, Amanda and Allison Walker. Visitation will be Friday, July 17, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM in the Brownsville Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2949 Davies Plantation Rd, Arlington, TN 38002.
